WHEEL CAFE MENU, a baseball photo which is a menu on the back. The menu has "The Wheel Cafe Congratulates The Cincinnati Reds National League Champions of 1939" on the front along with a photo of the players and their names below. Some of the players are listed below the photo and a few are Wally Berger, outfield; Bucky Walters, pitcher; Frank McCormick, first base; Harry Craft, outfield; Paul Derringer, pitcher; Doc Rhode, trainer; Vince Di Maggio, outfield and many more. The other side has the menu for the "Wheel Cafe Walnut, Near Sixth Cincinnati, Ohio". The menu measures 14 1/2 inches long and is 8 inches wide and is on heavy card stock with an antique finish. The 1939 Reds team finished the regular season with a record of 97 wins and 57 losses. The 1939 team lost the World Series to the New York Yankees, but came back in 1940 to win the world championship, defeating the Detroit Tigers.
