Western Wells Fargo & Co Express San Francisco Brass Telescope

TELESCOPE, a solid brass telescope with an antique finish. The lens has a cap and it measures 3 3/4 inches when closed and is 6 inches when pulled out and 1 1/4 inches wide. It is a replica with a brass round tag that reads "Property of Wells Fargo & Co Express San Francisco Division".  The earliest known working telescopes appeared in 1608. There are many who claim to have made the discovery, but Hans Libbershey is credited.
