Small Glass Advertising Counter Jar Dixie Gum

COUNTER JAR, that is a replica of an advertising piece. The jar is a small heavy clear glass counter jar with glass lid & plastic seal. The front has "Dixie Peppermint Gum" in all red and "Joe Bob's" and "The Flavor Sticks".  The counter jar measures 6 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide. American soldiers in World War I & II inadvertently helped to create a demand abroad for American chewing gum, candy and toothpaste -- and that many of these items were flavored with peppermint or spearmint oils.
