INDIAN POLICE BADGE, a solid copper double die struck with silverplated antique finish Indian Police Wind River Wyo. badge that is a star with a bear on it. The badge measures 2 inches wide and has the clasp on the back to pin to a shirt. The original is a colorful and attractive special order badge, that is authentic to the Shoshone Police on the Wind River Reservation, one of two Shoshone reservations in Wyoming. The Lewis and Clark expedition established friendly relations with the Shoshone in 1806.
