Coon Chicken Inn Restaurant Platter

PLATTER, a replica of the 1920's Coon Chicken Inn Restaurant.  The platter has the restaurant logo in the center that is the grinning caricature of a black man. The back is marked with "O.P.CO. Syracuse -China-P-3". It measures 10 inches across and is 7 1/4 inches wide. Spike Lee employed a number of black memorabilia in his April 2001 film Bamboozled, included in this collection was a Coon Chicken Inn plate.
