Colorado Springs City Marshal Badge

CITY MARSHAL COLORADO SPRINGS, the badge is a shield and is made of solid copper and double die struck with  a silverplated antique finish . It measures 2 inches across and has a pin for attaching to a shirt. This type of badge would have been worn by Charles Faber who was both Sheriff and Town Constable of Los Animas, CO as well. He was shot and killed by Texas gunman Clay Allison in 1876.
