Civil War US Union Brass Spittoon

SPITTOON, a solid brass spittoon with an antique finish. It is a replica with a brass wreath tag that has "U.S." on it. The spittoon measures 6 3/4 inches tall and is 6 1/2 inches wide. In the late 19th century United States and Australia spittoons became a very common feature of pubs, brothels, saloons, hotels, stores, banks, railway carriages, and other places where people gathered.
