Civil War Confederate Generals Commemorative Plate

COMMEMORATIVE PLATE, a 10" collector plate of the Civil War C.S.A. Confederate States of America 1861-1865. It has raised details of 5 generals of the South including; Stonewall Jackson, Nathan Bedford Forrest, James Longstreet, James Jeb Stuart and Robert E. Lee. It has a wire for hanging and a clear plastic stand is included as well. A very nice pottery or ceramic plate. In a letter dated; January 5, 1866 Robert E. Lee gives his opinion on what the South fought for, "All that the South has ever desired was that the Union, as established by our forefathers, should be preserved, and that the government as originally organised should be administered in purity and truth."
