Civil War Confederate Knife & Keychain In Tin Box Set

FOLDING KNIFE, a  collector knife and key chain in tin box with paper insert "Confederate Legends". The paper has a short biography of  Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson. The knife has a picture of each with a confederate flag in between. The knife is 7 1/2 inches long when open and 4 1/2 inches when closed and is marked "Stainless" on the blade. The key chain has the confederate flag. All is in a tin box with the confederate flag on it. The states that left the American Union in 1860 and 1861 brought with them a rich tradition of constitutionalism. Many Southern Leaders explained their support for secession in terms of the failure of the Federal compact. Most blamed Northerners for failing to live up to their obligations, although some thought it was structural flaws in the U.S. Constitution that made secession necessary.
