Cast Iron Toy Motorcycle Crash Car

MOTORCYCLE, that is an antique replica of a cast iron toy crash car motorcycle. The motorcycle crash car has a driver in a uniform of some kind. The cart has "Crash Car" on it. It measures 4 1/4 inches long, is 2 3/4 inches tall and is 2  inches wide. Cast-iron was a common toy material from the 1870's until World War II. It was ideally suited for mass-production, the iron was cast in molds that could be used thousands and thousands of times. Early cast-iron toys were normally decorated by dipping the pieces in a basic color of paint and then adding hand painted details.
