Cast Iron Bob Filling Station Attendant Still Coin Bank
STILL BANK, that is an antique replica of an advertising bank. The bank is a filling station attendant with the name tag "Bob" on the front. The back of his shirt has some raised lettering but it is unreadable. The bank measures 4 1/2 inches tall, is 2 3/4 inches across the front and is 2 1/4 inches at the widest point across the side. There is a coin slot in the back as well as a flat head screw. The world's first purpose built filling station was built in St. Louis, Missouri in 1905. The first drive-in station wasn't built until 1913.
