Alcatraz Prison Brass Padlock Lock

ALCATRAZ LOCK, a solid brass with antique finish padlock. The lock has a brass tag with Alcatraz Prison San Francisco and 2 solid brass keys. The lock measures 3 3/4 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches wide. It also measures about 7/8 of an inch thick!  Alcatraz was the United States foremost maximum security prison from the mid 1930's until the mid 1960's. It was considered the final stop for our nation's most incorrigible inmates. Today, Alcatraz is one of San Francisco 's most prominent landmarks and tourist attractions.
