The Lone Ranger Movie With Johnny Depp Is Back In Action, Hiyo Silver Away!

"With his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, the daring and resourceful masked rider of the plains led the fight for law and order in the early West. Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. The Lone Ranger rides again!" narrator for The Lone Ranger

It is true folks, just like the narrator of the TV show used to say, "The Lone Ranger rides again". The new movie version that is anyway. Starring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the masked man himself. Based on the 1950's TV show with an original Disney adventure and a talented pair of producers in Gore Verbinski and Jerry Bruckheimer it is sure to be a hit.

Already controversial as well with comments from actor Johnny Depp stirring up the intrigue kettle.  In comments to MTV Mr. Depp said;  "I think I have interesting plans for the character, and I think the film itself could be entertaining and very funny. But also I like the idea of having the opportunity to make fun of the idea of the Indian as a sidekick...the Native American has always been a second-class, third-class, fourth-class citizen, and I don't see Tonto that way at all. So it's an opportunity for me to salute Native Americans."

Whether you are tired of Hollywood remakes or just feel Mr. Depp is wrong for the part you can't deny that a Western movie is always welcome. New or old we like them all. Rio Bravo or El Dorado they are all pretty much the same. Good guy fights bad guy. Good guy prevails. The End.

So, we at the Back In Time Trading Post say..."Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear when the West was young and adventure lie at the end of every trail." narrator for The Lone Ranger.
